Reflecting on iboss’ presence at RSA Conference 2022 and Gartner’s Security & Risk Management Summit last week, we want to thank our customers, partners, and industry experts for stopping by, catching our presentations, and sharing your insights with us. Connecting with fellow cybersecurity professionals provides an invaluable chance to meet, learn from each other, and share how to protect against cyber threats. With iboss teams participating at both conferences, we gained not just meaningful interactions but key takeaways and actions to further protect customers and enable them to embrace a Zero Trust approach.
At RSA in San Francisco, we announced awards, participated in briefings, held executive meetings, and took part in key initiatives, including the following highlights:
- iboss wins Most Innovative Cloud Security & Best Product SaaS/Cloud Security by Cyber Defense Magazine. “We scoured the globe looking for cybersecurity innovators that could make a huge difference and potentially help turn the tide against the exponential growth in cyber crime. iboss is absolutely worthy of this coveted award and consideration for deployment in your environment,” said Yan Ross, Editor of Cyber Defense Magazine.
- We held theater presentations and held demos on three key topics: Zero Trust according to NIST, Identity+iboss, and Microsoft+iboss. These sessions enabled attendees to dig deeper into the iboss Zero Trust SASE platform and directly connect with our engineering team.
- Our CxO dinner with 30 customers, analysts and partners enabled us to align with industry experts and discuss cybersecurity concerns and trends. It was great meeting with thought leaders on Zero Trust, Security Service Edge and SASE strategy!
- Paul Martini, iboss CEO, joined Information Security Media Group for a video interview on how Zero Trust and Security Service Edge jointly protect users, applications and data. Further, he reviewed how Security Service Edge can deliver Zero Trust defense and how a Zero Trust architecture can effectively replace VPNs.
- iboss sponsored the Coalition to Close the Cybersecurity Talent Gap campaign alongside industry partners and peers. Led by NightDragon and NextGen Cyber Talent, this initiative aims to raise $1 million to help fund one year of community college courses for Bay Area students pursuing careers in cybersecurity. We are proud to be a part of this important effort.
Just as with RSA, Gartner’s Security and Risk Management Summit in National Harbor, Maryland provided our team with tremendous opportunity to showcase the iboss Zero Trust SASE platform and network with experts and clients. Our busy week included a number of great engagements:
- Our speaking session, “A Customer’s Journey – Secure and Connect a Hybrid Workforce with Zero Trust” was highly informative. Featuring Steve Clemons, former CISO of SMUD, and Tim Roddy, iboss VP of Product Marketing, the discussion provided tremendous insight on how a large U.S. utility improved their security posture while realizing significant cost savings and improved productivity when connecting users and apps to the cloud.
- The Showfloor Showdown: Security Service Edge vendor demo challenge put SSE vendors to the test! Our engineering team demonstrated the iboss platform and highlighted how we approach the market via important use cases.
- Our booth was active with demos and great conversations with security executives, risk management leaders, security architects and network managers. The iboss teams truly appreciated the opportunity talk with attendees about application and data security, Zero Trust, cyber threats mitigation and resource protection.
If you missed us at RSA or Gartner, we’d be happy to schedule time to review our presentations and customer stories, schedule a meeting or arrange a demo. Please contact us to learn more.
